Repurposing Your Social Media Content!
Reduce, reuse, and repurpose!
As a business owner, of course you are busy!
It can be a lot of work being present on all of the different social media platforms, and the content that goes viral on one platform, flops on another.
This is because, even though these social media platforms seem to be similar, the type of content that excels on them is different. For example, on instagram, aesthetic and well filmed content does better where as on TikTok more raw and fresh cut videos do best!
As well as this, these platforms differ in algorithm and what it takes to grow and be seen! For example on Pinterest, all that is need to gain followers, is clear videos, consistency and SEO, while on other platforms it takes a little more than that!
But even though there are these differences, it does not mean you can not still repurpose your content from one platform to another! Its just a matter of timing and editing!!
So the question is: Are you interested in reducing your stress and time needed for creating content for all of the different platforms, but still put out content that succeeds on the different platforms?
This can be done by repurposing a piece of content created on one platform, and editing it so that it works on another! This way you save so much time rather than creating whole new content for each and every platform. This also allows you to be consistent and present on at least 1-2 platforms at a time and have a higher chance of being seen and growing!
The question now is: What can I repurpose?
Let’s say you created your content primarily on IG. Well you can repurpose the majority of your content you create here on other platforms!
For example, your static posts or carousels can be repurposed for Facebook, Pinterest LinkedIn and blogs. Then your videos and reels can go onto TikTok, YouTube shorts and Pinterest, as well as your Instagram stories can be made into video/vlog and put onto TikTok too. But it doesn’t stop there, you can even repurpose your captions into newsletters and blogs!
Bottom line - repurpose as much as you can on as many platforms as you can to reach as many people as you can! And then by doing this, it will ultimately reduce your time spent creating content and bring new audiences to you!
